TOKYO-yo
my trip to tokyo was FRESH. oh...and i forgot that most of the attractive looking men are all in tokyo. so THAT'S where they are ladies. apparently NOT in nagoya or mie.
1) played hide-n-seek at ueno station. visited ueno park for the first time.
2) sat down at a starbucks and had people sitting on either side of us try and pretend they weren't looking.....god forbid, a man and a woman interacting!
3) ate GREAT turkish food at a romantic little restaurant....well, not sure how romantic it was. but, it was quaint.
4) met random people at a bar. one little white dude came up to us and asked us why "gambatte" was spelled with an "m" and not a "n". he was a NOVA from nagoya. i replied, "that's just the way the world turns, man."
5) met a random scottish couple who we talked to for about 30-40 minutes about how they just got married and live in australia and how much they love australia and australia vs. the UK and blah blah blah blah blah....i was getting buzzed by this time and did not listen to the conversation.
6) at around 4am, met a random japanese maybe korean old man the age of my father who was drunk as hell doing john travolta moves. he was ECSTATIC that a young woman (moi) was talking to him....he put his arms around me and i said that was sick cuz he was my father's age. he agreed, laughed, and asked my date if he'd be pissed if he touched my boob.
7) saw what kind of lifeforms stumble to the shinjuku trainstation at 4:30am.
8) harajuku is everything that gwen stefani makes it out to be.
tokyo.....you've gotta do it once in your lifetime.

haha! old man doing john travolta moves? that's great. i hope that when i'm old, i can still dance too...but i wouldn't be wrapping my arms around strangers. or would i?
eva, any stranger would be lucky to have you wrap your arms around them. so, go give them some cheap thrills!
