Sorry it's late, but VIETNAM PICS!!
sorry guys...i know this has taken me forever and a day. but, i FINALLY learned how to post multiple pics thanks to my new friend, EVA!! thanks, EVA!!! and thank you to grace for introducing me to eva!!!
anyhoo, here's the first pic. same one posted on grace's blog, this pic was taken in ho chi minh right before the 30th anniversary celebration of the liberation of saigon or vietnam or whatever. sorry, i'm ignorant. my bad.
next, here's a picture of us taken in Cu Chi. this is where the Cu Chi Tunnels are that the VC used during the war. heavy fighting went on here. keep in mind that it is BLAZING HOT here cuz it's inland. soldiers must've been struggling with the heat, man. this is a pic with one of the american tanks left behind after the war.
AK-47...the very best there is. when you absolutely positively have to get rid of every mother fucker in the room, accept no substitutes. (if you don't know where that's from, watch jackie brown.) anyhow, this was such an adrenaline rush!
this is a picture with our tourguide...who was kinda nuts. his name was mr. binh. but, this poor man was a vietnam vet who fought on the american side. you could just tell that this man had seen things that people shouldn't see. i wanted to give him a hug.
lastly, here's a picture of a buddha that's laying down. it's not that old. this was taken at long son pagoda where we got ripped off by some young hustlers who were saying that they were orphans. man...i'm such a sucker!

lovely pics! great job, shannon! there is a really easy way to resize so that your pictures fit in the blog space. in the "compose" mode, click on the picture and a box should appear around it. just click on a bottom corner and drag to resize it! it's that simple!

who were you thinking of when you shot the AK-47?? Good to hear you are having a blast all over the world, as this is something many of us reading have always wished to do.

dude, that AK was the shizzit! i need to go to a firing range to work on my technique cuz your pic looks a helluvalot cooler than mine. can your dad take me? lol

Damn. other than the fact you were "expelling" when you got back to Japan, this trip seemed like a lot of fun. I really need to go out... I wish i could've done something like that..
