From the bay to taipei....

yes, finally here in taipei. i'm sorry i havn't updated in SOOOOO long. the tournament is in 3 days. been training for 10 months. like i said...i'll have three minutes each match to prove myself. am i ready? i'm not sure. i don't feel nearly as good as i did before the last worlds in glasgow. i felt fucking awesome then. how do i feel now? i feel tired of this shit. i'm over it. however, since it's my last one, i'm going to give it all that i've got. no regrets.

is it possible for anyone to ever give it everything they've got? 100%? can i really say that i gave it everything during all that training? i don't think so. i didn't have that much heart in it. my heart was definitely elsewhere. sob story short, i had endured WAY too much heartache since returning from japan. but, what can i do? i have to just go for it. ain't nothing else to do now but to do it.

what goes through an athlete's mind before a huge event like this? a lot. we're all different. i have to remind myself about things to boost up my confidence and my aura. i earned my spot on the team. but, then, the pressure of representing my country, my dojo, my family, it does get to me sometimes.

to top it off, i'm pms-ing right now.

anyway, gotta go now. i shall update more after the tournament.

but wait...who is this other "Joe"? I am being impersonated, replaced even! Anyway, as the other mysterious Joe already stated, you'll kick some ass and all will be good. Grab hold of all of the shit you've had to endure over the last year and lash out on your opponent. I''m sure you'll do awesome.
Good luck!
