laos

here are my pictures from laos. i loved it here. if it wasn't for my excruciating stomach problems, i would have enjoyed it more.

there are probably some of the best damn noodles i've had in my life. it's chicken with glass noodles. i've never had glass noodles like this at a pho place back home. it's from a market and it's outside. looks like a shit hole. but, the best noodles...i ate here twice!

and...this is the "kitchen" where my noodles were made. can't miss the kitchen cuz it's right there...outside....where we sat...for all to see. i didn't care cuz it was the best damn noodles...

who me? here's me at the buddha park. many locals boast about the buddha park, saying it is very beautiful. well, it was surprised to see that it was rather small. also, the park was made in the 50s...or something like that. maybe even more recent. the 70s? it is comprised of all different buddhas from hindu gods, to fat chinese buddhas, to thai buddhas and etc, which makes it even weirder. this was the most bizarre and kitch park i have ever visited.
