i actually tried these frog legs. and, i don't think they taste like chicken. the texture is a cross between fish and chicken....i did not dig it.

these yummy little squirmy noodle-like things are little eels. no, i did not like it. i don't like big eels too much either, so why in the hell would i like these little ones all bunched up together like a can of worms?

the women's team at our practice location. we practiced at the city council building...or something like that. we were smart enough to get our own practice venue so that we wouldn't have to share space with any other country. at the same time, no other country would be able to size us up and watch and vice versa.

LONG OVERDUE pictures from my road trip this past summer. Every ex-JET feels this need to travel across the continental US upon returning home. mine was just a year overdue. i went with my ex-boyfriend (now boyfriend), danny, across 7 states. what i learned....america is fucking huge! so vast...

and, in no particular order, here is america the beautiful...



wow, look at that. open road. we spent most of our time in the car since we traveled aross 7 states in 6 days. we pretty much became delirious, but fortunately, i picked the perfect traveling mate because i didn't feel like ripping his head off. this might have been on the way to Utah.

Salt Lake City, Utah. I believe this is there city hall. Why in the hell were we in SLC? I dunno...cuz we've never been there, silly.




here we are in front of the salt temple where mormons come to worship. the guy told us the religious significance of this place, but i had absolutely no idea what he was saying...no offense...but, something about the prophet mortikai? wait...i think that's from lord of the rings...i dunno...




yes, we were the dorky people that took pictures by the state signs. we missed Utah and Nevada...

all these people are waiting for the geyser old faithful to blow. apparently, it goes every 2 hours...or 90 minutes...or something like that. on cue though.
