September and the beauty of the bay

so, for week 4 and 5 back home, i had to show around the "mamas" (these older women that took care of me and beth in japan) around the bay area, and also escort them to portland, oregon for beth's wedding. although it was a bit difficult to kick it with and cater to two over 40 year old japanese women for a week, it was a great opportunity to revisit some hot spots in the bay and to remind me of its beauty. take a look.

this is inside the church on the stanford university campus. i had never been inside before in my life....who knew it was this pretty?

when you visit the bay, you've gotta see the golden gate. we were lucky it was such a clear day....way to go, frisco!

gotta love the windy way of lumbard street...

the best thing about being home besides reconnecting with family and friends? driving in my ride bumping my stereo very very LOUD.

half moon bay and part of the beautiful coast line of cali.

here's a cute english tea room in carmel....with a US flag waving proudly out front!

here's a closeup of the sign that reads "english tea room" to prove it to you brits....sorry... ;)

no blog entry is complete without pics of my baby boy....takeru the terror. it looks like he leads quite a plush life here in the states.

next up...beth's wedding in portland, oregon.
