the million dollar question of the day
yesterday (friday), we had a thunder and lightning storm all day. three people asked me the same question.
stupid japanese person: so, do you get thunder and lightning in america?
stupid japanese person #2: have you heard thunder before?
in my head: NO , BECAUSE IN AMERICA, WE HAVE THIS SPECIAL ATMOSPHERIC CONDITION WHERE THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO SKY. ALSO, NATURAL WEATHER HAPPENINGS JUST DO NOT OCCUR THERE. DUH.
and, there we have it.

I got the "do you have earthquakes in America?" question. Ummm, let me think REAL hard about that one...
I bet if you opened up there heads, and listened for intelligent thoughts, all you would hear was complete silence...so quiet in fact that a mouse pissing on a cottonball sounds like a jumbo jet.
