you know, i've been doing all sorts of unproductive things since i've been jobless. for one thing, i've been reading up on my blog entries from my time in japan. i blogged a lot out of sheer boredom. i'm kinda glad that i did cuz i don't remember the little things....like the power going out during the winter at school, or when one of my students fell in class while we were doing an activity. funny how we forget these little events and details...so, thank goodness i blogged it.

i've discovered that i know a whole lot of useless shit.

-for example, i've learned that octopuses are quite intelligent creatures...and they can change colors in an instant! it's a trip! they can even mimic the color of the textures of their surroundings. it's a fucking trip! i wish i could be an octopus. might be fun....until something tries to eat me.

-i watch true hollywood stories a lot. i love the crime ones about high profile crimes. i learned that if you're an attractive, articulate female teacher that had sex with a student and got caught, your sentence will be more lenient than if you were ugly.

-i know that meerkats eat other meerkat's young to show dominance and prove the point that they're a bad mother fucker.

-i know about brooke hogan's love life. i actually know who brooke hogan is.

-i learned what cerviche is by watching topchef.

-i love the show the pick up artist on vh1 and vow to practice some of his methods as my own social experiment.

um...i know a lot of useless information about the latest celebrity gossip cuz that's all i read when i do my cardio at the gym. also, cuz that's all i kinda watch on tv. it's hard to believe that 6 months ago, i had no idea about the latest television programs cuz i didn't watch tv. funny how things change.

god, my brain is fried. i need to get working on my resume. i need to get working on my life...
