just finished with kendo club, but i have a random thought to share.
i just picked a hangnail...and now my thumb is bleeding profusely now. i don't have a bandaid...um....can't find any kleenex.....okay, i'll just have to wipe it on this piece of paper.
everytime i have a hangnail, i know that there's a good chance that it'll bleed. and, everytime i pick a hangnail, i know that it'll hurt. and yet...i still pick it.
i must pick my hangnail.
why do we humans put ourselves through such torture?

Its the same reason why raccoons steal shiny things. Its an unexplainable instinct in our human nature. Like how we always can't eat just one potato chip.
I picked and picked at my gross scabby nail until it finally came off. You can't resist. That's why some people mutilate themselves. I actually kind of like to watch myself bleed (as long as it's not bleeding profusely).
Shannon its called sadomasochism, for some.
