my bear!

i have a really cute bear on my phone. his name is kuman. he dances around on my screen...he walks here and there. he plays with water...he shakes his butt at me. he's cute. i don't remember his regular clothes, or if he ever had any. but on dec 1st, i woke up to a bear in winter gear! weird....like he went shopping or something!

these are the highlights of my days here in japan.

random thought: in a country that is so germaphobic...why does the ground toilet still exist? the hole in the ground with the weird carriage thing.....those of you who've been to asia know what i'm talking about. it's much more sanitary to squat over a western toilet than this hole in the ground where it splashes up onto your shoes or on your pant leg...it just doesn't make sense. WHY?!
