there are a few good things...
i went to my supervisor's place tonight for dinner. it was good. okay okay...so she's not that bad. i just pick on her. we're actually okay friends. other than her fashion sense, she's cool for the most part. we had sukiyaki!! good stuff. i havn't had it for awhile. i can make it myself now, but it's no fun to be eating that kind of shit by yourself.
i had some wine as well. the good thing about japan is......
there's nothing like being drunk and riding your bike in the night in the middle of the rice patties. and, the irony of smoking a cigarette while riding a bike. ha! riding my bike at night is fun until i get those scary ghost stories in my head. what's that weird light up ahead? oh...it's just my bike light shining on something. don't let your head mess with you. god...my head is pounding with alcohol.
here is an important bike riding tip. NEVER RIDE YOUR BIKE IN JAPAN WITH YOUR MOUTH OPEN. not even lips parted a little bit. not good. don't even smile. it doesn't matter what time of day it is. the summer is especially bad though...you can feel little bugs hit your face as you ride. AND, during the hot months, i never fail to ride into a string of a spider web. i swear, they're invisible and there are spider strings everywhere.
stupid takeru only likes to play when i get home, so it seems. i'm going to kill this cat. water spraying does nothing to detour him from doing bad things anymore. there is hole number 4 in my rice paper screen now. i have resorted to sound spankings. he has begun his demolition work on plant number two. he's only cute when he's sleeping.
head is pounding. too much alcohol. good food though.
today wasn't a bad day in japan.
